Our Heritage design is a traditional Harris Tweed plaid inspired by the Scottish highlands on a thick and warm brushed wool texture polycotton fabric. Heritage is available in 7 modern colours - Duck Egg Blue, Red and White, Purple and Green, Natural Beige, Charcoal Grey, Terracotta Burnt Orange and Mimosa Yellow. Each check pattern features rustic dark grey, white and brown stripes. Suitable for farmhouse, countryside and contemporary room schemes, this shabby chic style combines well with plain, semi-plain and printed fabrics.
- Unfilled Designs -
All of our McAlister Textiles doorstoppers come unfilled so that you can fill them to your requirements - we recommend filling them with sand or rice - to create bean bag door stops with a funky twist. Each product comes in a designer wedge shape with a useful velcro opening and removable leak-proof inner bag.
Use these soft door stops to keep doors open and windows shut, as heavy paperweights and book-stands, as draught stoppers to keep warmth in your home or even as as fabric gift bags for Christmas and birthday occasions! You can also combine them with matching square scatter cushions and pillows in the same design.

Arrived quickly. I fill the insert pouch with rice. Very convient it has a separate pouch for the weight, so the exterior pouch can be cleaned. Well made, strong Velcro. Holds my interior door open, which closes, because of a slight of level of the door it self.
I have 2 mini Schnauzers. One of whom likes to scrabble my rug up into a pile to make a nest and the other likes to drag it round the room as far as she can.
I was getting fed up of continually putting it back straight, but needed a rug to take some of the mud off their paws by the doors when they came in.
I tried a non slip rug mat which did nothing and have had a bad experience with carpet tape leaving black glue stains on a carpet so decided to just weigh it down.
Six doorstops and 3 kg of rice later and job done- not had to rearrange the rug once since they've been there.
They do a job and look good as well.
The grey one now likes to try drag one of the doorstops around instead but it's a lot easier to put back than straightening a rug 6 or 7 times a day!

The door stop very very well made and the colours are just right for my bedroom. I have filled it with rice but unfortunately it is not heavy enough for my door. I would love to see the company make larger ones that you can reach the handle to lift it up. Overall a lovely little doorstop
